Pro HDR X App Reviews

I have used Pro HDR for years and it is one of my all time favorite programs. It started acting weird with iOS 8 and they say iOS 8 users must buy Pro HDR X. I was shocked to discover they removed the HDR feature from the product! It now takes one photo and manipulated a la photoshop and the results are TERRIBLE. By definition HDR programs takes multiple exposures and combine them and this program does not do that. I am shocked that a company can completely destroy a product from one version to the next.

I kind of like what this does, but using ios9 on an iPhone 6+, the framing is completely wrong and renders this paid app useless. That, and there is no support path whatsoever. Very unfortunate.

Pro HDR was by far the best HDR app in the App Store. Pro HDR X somehow manages to meet or exceed the quality of the first app in a fraction of the exposure time. Thank you authors!

Waste of $2!

This is amazing camera and the only one I found that produces true HDR photos. On my amateur photographer and dont know a lot about taking photos but with this app. Im even getting notice from professionals on how amazing my photos are.

This and its predecessor are my go-tos if I want awesome shots. Period.

The pictures taken from this app are not that great, I achieve better pictures with the normal camera and using a post editing app. The skin tones look bad and yellowish.

Having used Pro HDR (light) for many years, I can confirm that Pro HDR X is an upgrade worth the cost of entry. I have yet to find a camera app that consistently takes high dynamic photos as well as Pro HDR in general does. Highly recommended!

After taking photos and when app try to apply effects it crash, sorry not sorry, 2 wasted $ = 1 star

This really does take pictures 100% better than the built in iPhone photo app. Seriously aa great application.

Great app! Works really well for low light situations. It also allows you to adjust the colors and saturation. I Just got the app and am looking forward to using it a lot!

Have had Pro HDR for years. New version is even better. Rich colors, lots of operator control

Loading 3 previously taken photos into the app crashes it. I can load 2, but as soon I attempt to adjust the image, it crashes. It says it can handle DSLR photos, but guess not. I shouldve noticed that the app hasnt been updated in nearly a year...that may say something...

Frankly the best app I have purchased! Easy,fast, your images will be similar to dslr camera!!​ ​ ​ The only minor problem is that if you take a.pic and it is not good there is no cancel button ?! You should close the app and open it again. But I am sure with updates will be better.

I used to use the Pro HDR app, and loved how the photos came out. It took a while to snap both photos but it kept the photo looking natural in the final pic. This app adds too much cheesy HDR effect to the photo. I just want the photos in high and low apertures combined, not extreme highlights and shadows. Now this app is less for serious photographers and more for people who love filters and effects. Make the photos more natural again!

I have been a long time user of pro HDR then bought pro HDR X when it came, since the last update the app has a problem of the viewer being zoomed in. (so when you are framing the shot the display is zoomed in and after you press the shutter button the picture displays normal) please fix and i will update my rating! thanks.
