Version 1.1 has critical issues; app appears to have been abandoned

My phone: 4s
My iOS: 8.4.1

I can take a picture in Auto HDR mode, but if I touch the HDR slider that appears the application just disappears. I tried the usual tire-kicking maneuvers such as rebooting the phone, but didnt work. It looks as though the app hasnt been updated since Dec 2014, so my suggestion is dont think Id pay money for this app until new versions come out.
